DISCUSSION ABOUT AUTISM, THURSDAY 5 IN THE FILMOTECA
Coinciding with the premiere of the documentary Her name is Sabine, The Documentary of the Month organizes a discussion about autism that will take place after the screening in the Filmoteca de Catalunya on Thursday 5th at 7:30 pm.
We’ll count with the PhD in Psychology Francesc Cuxart, consultant of the Project Autisme la Garriga and member of the Scientific Committee of the Spain Autism Confederation and ARAI (French association dedicated to promote the investigation of autism), and Marta Roca Fina, vice-president of the Foundation Congost Autisme and sister of a person with autism.
The audience will have the chance of chat with them and discuss about autism after watching Sandrine Bonnaire’s documentary, a hard criticism to the French psychiatric institutions but, overall, a moving portrait of her sister Sabine.
