PETER GREENAWAY OPENS THE DOCUMENTARY OF THE MONTH IN ARGENTINA
The next 30th of August, Parallel 40 will celebrate that The Documentary of the Month lands in Buenos Aires (Argentina), with the premiere of Rembrandt's J'Accusee, screening at 8 PM in the Cine Malba (Buenos Aires). After the movie a colloquium will be held with the director of the documentary, Peter Greenaway. Joan González, director of Parallel 40, and Benjamín Ávila, director of Bellasombra (the project's partner in Argentina) will attend the act, and so will the First Counsellor of the European Union in Argentina and different members of the EU Embassy in the country, among other members of the film industry.
To present the iniciative, a press conference has been scheduled for the 31st of August, 6.30 PM at the British Arts Center that will be attended by the media of Argentina and Uruguay. Afterwards, the prestigious director will give a master class on new film language.
