SYNOPSIS
A humorous and poignant look at a group of middle aged men who have found unlikely success as members of Sweden’s all male synchronized swimming team. What began as a weekly escape from the daily grind of work and family responsibilities, gradually evolved into a more serious commitment. This group of train drivers and meat buyers, archivists and teachers soon discover that they are not the only male team in the world and that there is even going to be an unofficial All Male World Championship when for many in the team as over half of them will turn 40, a moment when it’s time to take stock of their lives.
THE DIRECTOR
Dylan Williams is a Welsh established in Sweden for love that joins the male team of synchronised swimming with the intention of extend his circle of friends. Six years later starts to make his place in the documentary production with this work that he directed and starred. Nowadays he’s still combining the trainings with the team with a project in his natal Wales and a children’s series for 3-to-5-year-olds.
