For first time in history, Argentina sends a team to the Homeless Football World Cup, which was celebrated in 2004 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The preparation, the expectations of the players and an intimate trip to Sweden, to live their dream of being part of their own cup, The Other Cup.

From the cold stairs of the underground train stations to the heart of the first world, in seven days that will change their lives forever.

Damián Cukierkorn was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 15^th, 1976. He is 30 years old and he has been working since 1999 on TV, radio and films.

With skills in journalism, politic science and media resources, he has been working with social issues for several years.

On radio and TV he has worked as a journalist and executive producer in different shows, and two of them won the Martin Fierro award for the best Journalistic TV Show of the Argentinean television.

He also was the executive producer of the films “El Fondo del Mar” (2003), by Damián Szifron, and “El transcurso de las cosas”, by Esteban Menis. He also worked in the films “Sábado” (2001 – Executive Producer Asistant), “Algunas cosas personales” (Short – 2002 – Production designer) and “Estrellas” (2006 – Investigation)

“La Otra Copa” is his first documentary as a director.

He is now working as director assistant on an 8-documentary series for Canal Encuentro.
